A pearl is defined as a living organism;sometimes very precious that developes due to an irritation. It is described as a rare , fine , admirable and valuable despite it's coming about in response to injury and /or attack .Often a parasite can damage the external rim of the shell which causes a secretion that in turn forms a cyst in the healing process . How beautiful that something so delicate and lustrous can come from such a dark place.What hoppe this provides in reminding me of the resillience created by human nature.How wonderful that we do not have to be defined by our past.
